Kolkata: The Board of Secondary Education Odisha has issued the admit cards for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2024. Appearing candidates can get their admit cards using the direct link provided below.

The OSSTET 2024 is set to take place on January 17, 2025, in two shifts for 50,587 candidates. The admit card contains essential information, including the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, exam date, time, and venue. It also provides important instructions, the candidate's category, the paper they will appear for, and the reporting time.
The OSSTET 2024 exam will be divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1, meant for TGT posts, will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while Paper 2, designed for Physical Education posts, will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

After the release of the admit card, it's important to understand the exam pattern. The OSSTET comprises two papers, designed for different candidate categories. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach Science (PCM/CBZ), Arts, Hindi, and Classical languages i.e. Urdu, Telugu, and Sanskrit. Paper 2 is intended for those aiming to become Physical Education teachers. Each paper includes 150 objective questions, carrying a total of 150 marks, with a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. For incorrect answers there is no penalty.
